Kirislin
I went camping for the first time in years and had a great time. I took only one whippet, Kibah, after her initial bewilderment cause she's getting old, she settled in really well and loved it. We might have to do it again I think. Here's a few pics. Kirislin
thanks guys. :D Woods Point is like stepping back to the 1940's, nothing has really changed since I first went there as a little kid, except maybe that old service station actually sold petrol then I am glad it hasn't gone all touristy, it's probably the miles of corrugated gravel roads that put most city people off. It's an incredible drive in. Once you get to Matlock high up then the road starts a steady and steep descent that goes on for about 5 ks with a drop off down the side that leaves you gasping. It's a pretty amazing drive in. I wish I had a 4wd, I'd go there alot more often, but it was a hard drive for my little buzz box car.
