twodoggies2001
Good morning,I was wondering if anybody else has a dog that has been prescribed tacrolimus for dry eye? If so How do you find it and how many times per day do you use it? Thanks I use Tacrolimus for Benson who has sever dry eye. In his case, it has not really improved his numbers for the dry eye,and the count comes in very low, but in his case,it doesn't seem to bother him. He seems to cope with the low count. The only drawback is that it is frightfully expensive, but his eye, given his age, and according to the eye specialistist healthy.

Yeah Ill agree with the tear count as my dog had better tear readings with the optimmune but it did not agree with him. Another positive thing is that it is much cheaper than the optimmune as well. Do you use it once or twice a day?
