Tay.
Quick question... What sort of footwear is considered 'legal' to wear in agility trials (on the human not the dog )? Would these be allowed? http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/products/...-KSO-Womens.htm Also, I notice a lot of handlers overseas run with no shoes on... Is that allowed here? I'm talking ANKC agility if that makes a difference
RallyValley
Someone in WA runs in a blue pair of these... he had the unfortunate timing of starting around the time the movie avatar came out and I will only ever think of them now as avatar shoes. I got a pair in the summer and I'm thinking about wearing them to tomorrow's agility trial... At training I get a lot of 'What the hell are on your feet!?!' comments
RubyStar
They are certainly "interesting" footwear! I've had socks with toes in it before and they were pretty weird to wear, couldn't imagine shoes having toes!! at the avatar comment. I saw half that movie so know what you mean
Kavik
My mum has barefoot shoes for running (she does some marathons) - they are becoming very popular as I have seen a few people wearing them.
Vickie
They look cool! I wish so much we were allowed to run in bare feet, but we're not. I don't think there are any rules about footwear, so long as you have something on your feet. I rocked up to the dog of the year final last year in gumboots. Luckily I realized before I went into the ring Edited April 9, 2011 by Vickie
