They are really cute, how do you come up with names for them all?

Naming has always been difficult in this household and i think my lot will carry the names, blue, black, red, green, yellow and white, the same as their collars. lol. i like the name Puppy, most puppies resond to that.

God help me come pedigree names, I'm a lost cause. :banghead::hitself:

Oh Rebanne they are beautiful!!!!! Her scar looks nasty - the rescue dogs always had them along between their teats.

It could have gone either place, I went with what the vet was happiest with. It is easier to keep an eye on it there.

Yeah it would be much easier and would stay dry. I always worried about it drying when it was sandwiched between big fat boobies! Makes sense to have it out of the way! I also used to think that it must hurt having little claws needing at the site though they didn't seem to mind.

Actually it is the worse type to do, because if something went wrong during surgery the vet would have to close the incision before turning the bitch on her back to attend to her.

Yeah I suppose that makes sense and would have been a real issue with our greyhound bitch that had the ruptured uterus....

Winter theme. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) Snow ice wind rain etc.

Good idea BB. We had a bit of a issue last night, mum wanted out to toilet so i went in and attended to the puppies and assumed hubby would let her outside. He pushed straight passed her and locked her inside and we had a lovely green running poo all over the cream carpet. The smell was bad enough but because of it's liquid form i had no choice but to scrub it out as it is in the kids play room, lol...yuck..

Puppies are 6-7 days old today so new photo. Baby blue is gaining about 10-15 grms a day were the others have just about doubled thier birth weights.

They are looking so good! My scales have bit the dust but all my babies look and feel good in the hand so I am not going spare about not knowing their weights. Mind you I have already ordered a replacement. :D

I have about 30 different winter names if you need some Cavalblaze, totally different breeds so am happy to share my list.

A Mid line incision also protects the stitches as they are hidden between the breasts, a flank incision exposes them to puppies mouth and nails (assuming the bitch has bigger breasts then normal).

A flank incision is common in livestock as they can't really flip on their backs in the middle of a paddock.

I'm looking for pictures of puppies wearing the Identa - Pup ID Collars If you would not mind me using them on FB and the website please email the pictures to me at [email protected] Or just say ok etc in this thread.

Thank you !

Sway, do you want some of older pups wearing them to show how they grow with the pup? If so I can get some pics over the next couple of days of 6 week olds in them.

Cavalblaze those babies are so cute!

Thankyou, yes they are rather cute slugs. :D Daughter is at me to name them,

I only hope that others share your opinion so that i can find suitable homes for them all. ;) People on my waiting list have cancelled, found pups elsewhere which you can't blame them it's been months/year of waiting. :o I would love to see one of the boys in a show home but regardless a happy stable home is most important.

If i can't sell them i will just have to keep them all,:laugh: :D

Im sure they will sell. Early days. I have homes for all of mine apart from one. All the others had been named and I felt sorry for the one that was left so I named her Annie and it sooooooooooooo suits her. I dont want to let her go. She just looks at me with those stunnings eyes and I just melt.

Fun household for you if you dont sell them!!
