Inevitablue
Could someone recommend me a good dog Chiro in the Sydney region. I have one recommendation but hoping there might be someone good within Sydney. Too much rough play for one little puppy
Bjelkier
I've never used him but the breeder of one of my dogs swears by this guy Gary and Neil Barnsley 02 47748491 150 Wolstenholme Ave, Greendale

I have taken my dogs there for over 20 years and all my friends use them as well.
sas
I don't give a reccomendation for the Barnsley's based on my own experience with Neil. Gary doesn't take on new clients anymore. I have seen Peter out at Berkshire park for 4 years, he's a lovely man who is a gentle as possible with the dogs and I get results: 0411 353 130. He's a Muscle Manipulator not a Chiro. Shelby
I would second Peter - always gentle with the dogs and they all love him. His prices are very reasonable as well.
Miss Danni
I'll third Peter! We have been seeing him for over 10 years at his various locations, he is excellent!
Inevitablue
Thanks for the info Do these guys do adjustments like a human chiro? Many years ago I had Ann at Richmond (human chiro with a dog interest) look at my dog and she used the 'popper' adjustment tool on his spine. The metal, handheld, heavy click tool. The show instructor pointed out from her movement that she looked a bit sore, and when we pressed down her back she has a sore spot kind of between her flanks. Miss Danni
I've never had Peter use anything other than his hands. As MEH says, he is a muscle manipulator, not a chiro.
Inevitablue
I rang both and Peter was able to see her the next day. A little adjustment to her neck and her sore spot on her back. A week previous she damaged a rear nail, so it's either the limping for the few days that put a vertebra out, or the sliding on the polished floorboards. What's doing my head in now is I keep thinking she is moving tight, or that she is still sore etc. I'm convinced she is still moving funny I gave her the last of the carprofen which was for her nail to see if she moved any different with some pain relief, but I couldnt see any changes. Argh I hate over analyzing everything Someone please reassure me that young dogs move slightly sideways so they don't crossfire when trotting
Rysup
If your dog has extended reach and drive and a short back, it may well be sidewinding to assist movement. Peter is an awesome manipulator, and if you think your dog is still moving funny I would go back to him. I've had dogs who I had to take out every few weeks when I was showing them, as they would put themselves out in the blink of an eye!
sas
She could still be a bit sore, just like when we go to the Back Dr it doesn't magically go away but we start on the path to getting better, I guess it all depends on the depth of the problem. If you're worried call Peter, she might need to go back again.
Inevitablue
Peter was great, and we had a good chat about lots of things, I know myself sometimes my neck needs a few visits to get sorted. Damn show next weekend I might give her till tuesday and take her out again if I'm still doing my head in. She does have a big stride and is really well coupled, but not straight thru the hock at all, very angular actually. Thanks guys
