My lab has just been diagnosed with this We are yet to decide on a course of action, going in to see the vet on monday to further discuss. Greytmate Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 There are different types, mast cell, sickle cell etc. Goldie had spindle cell sarcoma. Goldie lived for five years after diagnosis, and I don't think the cancer was what killed her in the end. She had a series of ops and metronomic chemo. I also had the option of radiotherapy. harley Posted March 24, 2011 Author Share Posted March 24, 2011 Apparently if we decide to have radiotherapy, it has to be done in qld, and he would need to be there for 4 weeks!
