HugUrPup
Hi everyone, Miley had her teeth looked at by the vet today and although they are healthy and she has no cavities, they are pretty built up with plaque and they need a preventative clean. I was quoted $360, but would like to know if there is somewhere that does it cheaper than this? If not it's ok, I just like to shop around first before paying that sort of cash. Cheers
Gayle.
Do you feed her bones? Shae came to us as a rescue, and she had quite a build up of tartar on her teeth, but a regular feed of raw chicken pieces and various other raw meaty bones had them sparkling clean in no time. I was speaking to a vet on the weekend who said she always recommends raw meaty bones for teeth cleaning before anaesthetic and manual cleaning. Erny
Subject to what GayleK said above, I just had my boy's teeth cleaned and polished by Dr Bob Cavey - $270.00 for the procedure.
HugUrPup
Oh great Erny, where is his clinic? She eats raw chicken necks almost every day and has a big meaty bone every week. She is also on Hills dental diet.
