White Shepherd mom
very sorry for your double loss Bartok. That's awful. I'm glad you found a caring company to help. Thank you for the recommendation. Did you cremate your dogs? If so, do you keep the ashes or scatter them?
Bartok
very sorry for your double loss Bartok. That's awful. I'm glad you found a caring company to help. Thank you for the recommendation.Did you cremate your dogs? If so, do you keep the ashes or scatter them? This is the first time we have been through it. And it has only been this passed week. Their Ashes are coming home to us. We chose to have a plaque with a pic put on them. My husband wouldnt cope with scattering Ashes. I would love to do it and maybe put a stone with plaque in the garden, but my husband isnt coping so well. So I let him to decide what we do with them. I heard about Pet Memories a few years ago and met the owner once and asked him about their work. I had spoken to a few people about them and they also said the care they give the animals is wonderful. They treat them as a family member with respect and dignity and each animal is individually cremated. They are owned by a Christian family, but will be happy to incorporate all different religious beliefs etc when your dogs pass and you want something special done. Tilly
When our beloved rottie passed in 2007 ... I had planned to scatter his ashes but when the time came I just couldn't let him go. We ended up with a Solid Timber Memorial Cabinet like the one pictured below - we got to pick the poem, photo and the enscription on the plaque. They also provided a lock of his hair as well.
