nightgrace6
Get yourself some help. Full of excuses. Find someone who has a "can do" attitude to take your dog, its obvious you won't get over it, you are very negative and whilst I sympathize I don't think you are taking any of the heartfelt and solid advice in your stride. Sorry for being harsh but it will be better for the dog if you don't believe in yourself..
PAX
Of course you need to pick the breeds and times that you think are safe to let your dog off leash and free to mix with...something I rarely do. If your area is so bad to walk in, you may need to get in the car and go to places that are safe to walk. What area do you live and posters may be able to suggest safe areas to walk your dog. Baby Dragon
Sorry if I missed it, I haven't read the whole thread. But are you going to take your dog to see a behaviourist? I think that would be the first step.
