krystle_chino_tira
HELP! My four year old staffy suddenly decided to start weeing & pooping on the patio instead of the grass, which is right next to it. she's been fine going on the grass up until about 3weeks ago, she will even go almost right next to her own bed! she's in perfectly normal health - other than this issue. we have another dog and he's starting to do this too. she always does it during the night while we are asleep or while we are at work. since im not therewhen she does it i dont know how to stop her or rather have the oppurtunity to retrain her. any ideas or help would really be appreciated!!! Erny
Put up barriers that allows her only the necessary room on the patio to rest (ie bedding), eat and drink. Make sure you wash down the soiled areas with non-ammonia based products. Reward highly for any toilets you see occurring off the patio.
Baby Dragon
Has it been raining there a lot recently? My dog will occasionally poop on the concrete instead of grass if it's been raining and he doesn't want to get his paws wet.
sheena
I gave my girl a frozen turkey neck yesterday morning on the verandah, where she staid & ate it....She then proceeded to do a huge pee on top of the spot where she'd just been fed I always give the bones on the verandah as the lawn is full of sandy ants nest. But can't understand why she would want to pee where she'd just enjoyed a lovely bone.

Kaffy Magee
Mine will go on the patio if its raining or been raining. My girls have also peed where they have just eaten and then of course when one does it the others try to go over the top, but I ususally catch them out before they all go. Bloody frustrating. I think I'll have to start feeding on the grass.
