pixie_meg
Came across this interesting spelling on gumtree. Not to mention calling a 'whip it' a mini grey hound oh dear. chawahia X whip it ( miniture grey hound) i know rottweilers often get called rockwheelers. and borzoi get called boyzoi(sounds a bit japanese to me). Staranais
Try owning a malinois. ETA, Among many other variations I've heard both mali-nut and mali-noise, and couldn't decide which was most appropriate! Diva
I had a woman at a show ask what my dogs were. I told her they were Borzoi, she asked that I repeat it, Bor-zoi I said slowly. No problem with that, it's an unusual name. But she came back at me with 'Oh yes, I've heard of them, the Bourgeoisie'. It make me laugh, they can be a bit Bourgeois. OSoSwift
Had a very entertaining half hour listening to some people a few gazebo's down trying to figure out how to say the Xolo's name. I was going to give them correct pronounciation (thanks Wazzat for having it in your sig) but was having more fun listening to their bad attempts!
