CrazyCresties
These were taken a few days ago at Jualbup Lake in Shenton Park, Perth - usually a seasonal dry lake this time of year, but it has been 'controversially' filled by groundwater pumped from a development site. Anyway it's brought some nice bird life to the area for me to practice on Edited February 25, 2011 by CrazyCresties
Kirislin
what a great opportunity. those corellas are funny aren't they. Did you post some pics of them a few months ago, I recall seeing pics of corellas squabbling a while back, very funny. I have to ask, are those reflections real, the black swan and the bird in flight?
CrazyCresties
Love the last two CC. Great action shots! Thanks, they were such characters Trouble is they spent all their time in the shade, so not the sharpest of pics what a great opportunity. those corellas are funny aren't they. Did you post some pics of them a few months ago, I recall seeing pics of corellas squabbling a while back, very funny.I have to ask, are those reflections real, the black swan and the bird in flight? Nope these are my first fighting corella pics :D lol, yes the reflections are real I don't have photoshop, and even if I did, I sure wouldn't have the skill to create reflections like that The lake was very calm but also quite silty in parts, and the sky was cloudless, hence the clear blue relections Photos were cropped and adjusted for sharpness and exposure, but no real changes to colours :D

Kirislin
amazing colours on the loris. I love the purple swamphens. I didn't know you'd have them over there. The last one might be a peregrine falcon but I am not certain. Someone will know. Cracking shots you're getting.
