dogfan
Not too sure about these two but figured I'd share them anyway :) And not macro but taken with my macro lens:
CrazyCresties
Cute little ladybird dogfan :) I don't have a macro lense and probably wouldn't recognise one if I did!! I followed these two wasps around for about half and hour, one had killed the spider and the other was trying to wrestle it for the prey. That's so cool hankdog! Would love to see that but could guarantee I'd have the wrong lens on  Loving those bugs MM, very nice Nice bee shots too tlc :) Finally got some bug shots with my new 100mm, I'm actually finding it trickier to use than my Tamron 60mm, but the quality is great when I get it right :) Un-welcome guest in some corn  Wasp! And of course some spiders :D This one was on my car wing mirror, hence the red  And an Indy shot :)
tlc
Beautiful shots CC, just love the Spider with the red background. Gorgeous kitty shot too!
CrazyCresties
Thanks tlc :D The Indy shot was taken wide open - it's nice and sharp wide open for portrait shots, but obviously needs to be shut down a fair bit for most macro work :) eta - one more from yesterday Edited January 28, 2013 by CrazyCresties
CrazyCresties
Getting the hang of this lens now :) Found this little Cicada in a bag of salad, so popped him in the sun to warm up after about 33hrs in the fridge. After about 30 mins he flew off somewhere having survived his chilly experience!

icedmice
LOVE IT... great photos! This is my favorite: A wild juvenile eastern brown snake, I was very privileged to get that close, I had to give it some space when it had enough of being paparazzied. tdierikx
I just bought a Tamron 90mm F/2.8 Macro 1:1 VC USD lens... now I just need some ideas as to what to take pics of... *grin* T.
tdierikx
I must confess that I have no idea apart from pointing the camera at something, focusing, and clicking the button, but I got a few shots regardless... ... and it was windy, and things kept moving about... grrr! This little bugger kept hopping from flower to flower... and I'm allergic, so tried to keep some distance... This fellow was much more obliging - nice and lazy... More practice definitely needed, but I'm pretty happy with these... T.
tlc
Looks like your off to a great start! Macro photography is a bit of a learning curve thats for sure! A couple of new ones from me. I find Macro makes me look at things differently, I noticed these little fungus in the yard the other day so decided to break out the macro.
