persephone
Last night, I found a very placid Southern Bell Frog.. placid because it sat still as this was done in torchlight, hand held.. using my finepix on super macro ..with camera about 5 cm from the frog's head and I only needed one shot . redangel
Persephone great pic...if thats a bee wasp it has only anesthetized the spider to lay eggs in it....poor spider will wake up and will be in for a shock... I absolutely love that bumblebee FM...its so fat n furry!!!! I wish one of those would frequent this area. Awesome frog shot.
persephone
Thanks, folks. I think it was one sort of spider wasp. It certainly worked hard ...eventually the spider was dragged quite a few metres up into a bush- nearly a metre off the ground.
