Impatiens
Wow! Some of the insect shots are amazing! I don't know how many blurry bee pics I've taken - I just don't seem to have the right timing! Roses don't move anyway! 366 Days 326 Rose Red by nzalis99, on Flickr Olympus xz-1 compact

Staffyluv
I did it... I bought the canon L series 100mm macro lens.. I had a bit of a play this morning for a few minutes and it is truly amazing... So much fun. I can't wait to get some decent time to take it out and really play with it. It is a self Christmas and birthday present for about the next 5 years but I am so happy I did it..
tlc
More great shots in here! Looking forward to your shots SL, I have the 100mm macro too. Not the L just the regular one.
Staffyluv
More great shots in here! Looking forward to your shots SL, I have the 100mm macro too. Not the L just the regular one. I looked a both - and the L series was more expensive but to be honest, I know it will be worth the extra bucks. It has IS and some other setting (which I am yet to explore) on the lens itself. We had heaps of bees buzzing around the lemon tree, flowers to take pics of and of course Zig had to get in the middle of it (until I aimed the camera at him - he is such a spoil sport).. Still need heaps of practice with this lens.. Staffyluv
I got some more yesterday of some flowers and a pine tree, will post some up tomorrow.. Zig got a new collar from Ruthless and I am going to get some of the detail on the collar with the macro lens, I think they will turn out great. I was also playing around with water running.. This lens is amazing and so much fun. The more I think about it, the more I sure I am about doing the Canon digital photography course here at the college
