Kirislin
Spider bridge. This poor spidey had drowned in one of my water gardens so I fished it out and put it on a fence post. Almost immediately the ants started swarming over it. At least it didn't go to waste.

Kirislin
what a gorgeous little skink. I cant get anywhere near the ones here, the whippets hunt them if they see them. Sorry for giving you the heebie jeebies with the spider bridge. Just imagine if you had to walk across it.

CrazyCresties
Last night, I found a very placid Southern Bell Frog.. placid because it sat still as this was done in torchlight, hand held.. using my finepix on super macro ..with camera about 5 cm from the frog's head and I only needed one shot . Beautiful I love frogs but haven't seen a single one here so far. Thanks, folks. I think it was one sort of spider wasp. It certainly worked hard ...eventually the spider was dragged quite a few metres up into a bush- nearly a metre off the ground. Wow, that's one mean wasp :D Spider bridge. This poor spidey had drowned in one of my water gardens so I fished it out and put it on a fence post. Almost immediately the ants started swarming over it. At least it didn't go to waste. Poor spider, but lovely shot Great Skink catch FM Luckily my dogs ignore them - in fact when I was taking a pic of the one I put on here the other day, it ran straight towards Daisy who was lying on the door mat, and she stared at it and walked off in annoyance that it had disturbed her
