GoldenWei
I bought a cheap pair from Big W, they are very similar to the Sketches & Rivers ones. I probably need to buy a new pair soon as they are probably getting to the end of their life. Don't know how many times they've been through mud but they've held up well. poodlefan
I can't keep ballet flats on my feet Me neither. I leave court shoes behind on stairs if I wear them. I'd never thought to buy Skechers O/S. I must find out my size in them. I love the look of the ones you wear Megz.

fifi
Forgot to add, along with my Rivers and a pair of sketchers, I have a pair of ladies touch football shoes, they look like runners but have BIG rubber knobs on the soles, have saved my skin in wet conditions a few times. I've seen a couple of junior handler girls with soccer boots, the runner style one's. fifi

ShesaLikeableBiBear
I wear golf shoes, mostly Footjoys, as are very comfortable and with the rubber spikes I don't slip. Only bug bear is that the spikes will collect newly mown grass. Golf shoes come in a range of colours -I have black and white, white and black, navy and white, pale blue and white, buff and white and pink and white. You can buy either leather or synthetic. http://www.footjoy.com.au/catalog/womens.asp?c=20 PS Some other manufacturers are Nike, Adidas, Callaway and Ecco Edited February 19, 2011 by Hesapandabear

Andisa
edited: I bought these ones last night for $39.95. http://www.rivers.com.au/catalogdb/blowupp...22228&PS=23 and they are very comfortable. VERY close to others listed for only $15 so will go and check them out. Edited February 19, 2011 by Andisa
Riverstone
=http://www.ecco.com/au/en/collection/women/golf/index.jsp I love my new ECCO street golf shoes. We need to be able to run with our guys, so they give me the grip I need esp. on wet grass. They are really comfortable and I love the colours, I found it hard to pick which one to buy. Diva
I usually wear sketchers but I need something with more grip in the wet - can you buy golf shoes on-line or do I need to find a golf store? The Footlocker type places don't seem to carry them. Edited February 19, 2011 by Diva
Alyosha
Don't know about online Diva but there is a golf shop in DFO Canberra. It's huge.

Aaah thanks, I never go there but should have realised that would be a likely place. I'll check them out.

ShesaLikeableBiBear
Fifi, I couldn't use the first link to Ecco either. You have "beaten" me to posting another link. If anyone is interested in golf shoes I would recommend you go to either a golf course, all of whom have a pro shop, (am a golfer) or the likes of Golf World, try on various brands, get the model details and then try and source online. ;) Regular shoe shops such as Footlocker would NOT normally stock golf shoes
TerraNik
I wear Merrells. Unfortunately Sketchers don't make shoes large enough for me!!!

Love my merrells, if the rivers are as close to being as comfortable, they might be a good alternative.
fifi
The River's I have are years old and still my most comfortable shoe. They have been frozen, wet, thrown in the washing machine and they are still looking okay and reliable. fifi
