Boronia
I just received a message from the Yahoo Westie group asking to put the message out it says: Hi all, These lovely dogs were lost in the Brisbane floods but no one has come for them yet http://mansequins.blogspot.com/ Can you please forward to anyone you know who may know people in Brisbane. Kelpie-cross girl dog still searching for her owner ! She is not doing well; fretting and frail. She may be older than 12 years and has an arthritic hip. She swam for her life and deserves every chance she can get to be reunited with her owner too. PLEASE keep RT-ing this blog site until we find her owner, who obviously does not know she is still alive! Prior to Update: These beautiful Golden Oldie dogs were both plucked from raging torrents of water during the Queensland Floods, Australia. Although rescued in separate locations, they were swimming for their lives when dragged to safe ground. Qld Flood survivor Golden Oldies looking for owners They were taken to RSPCA Brisbane, but then transferred to @AWLQ, Gold Coast. Neither of them have any identification. They are both Golden Oldies, over 8 years old. Although they are doing their best "cute face" for the camera, they are both quite traumatized. And really missing their owners! The black Labrador is a boy, and the Kelpie cross is a girl. They both appeared well cared for, which means their owners would be distraught incase they had drowned. If you know either of these 2 dogs: contact either myself, @PepiSmartDog, or @AWLQ (The Animal Welfare League Queensland), immediately! These dogs only have days left before being put up for adoption. AWLQ want to give these pets every opportunity to be reunited with their "Forever Family" before making any further decisions. Please RT this blog link to anyone you think may be Australian. Someone has to know who they are! Scarlett Dog
I've seen that pic on the facebook group for pets that have been found after the floods. I thought one of the two dogs in the pic had been reunited with it's owner?
