Had another ultrasound done today after the 'Can't see anything there' scan and there are 4 down one side and 2 down the other side, possibly more............. around the 22nd 'ish.... Wyntervale Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Great names! I got my prefix through yesterday (last choice LOL). We are Merrirose Whippets!!! Ive changed my username from KcBlue to match. We are now heading towards week 6 and looking much less sleek than our usual shape Awww I like Merrirose I think it's pretty, but I know what it is like to get your last choice and be a bit 'meh' about it. I was the same about Wyntervale, but it has grown on me. Yep it's lots of fun speculating how many & what sexes they will be. How many is your girl suppose to be having? Are you getting nervous yet?...this is your first litter isn't it? This is my 2nd litter & I'm starting to get a little nervous now that whelping time is fast approaching, she had a text book whelping last time, all puppies where alive & healthy & Brandy was a Super Mum..but I still get stressed out that things could go wrong this time...I'm sure even the most experienced dog breeder get the pre whelping jitters though. My girl is supposed to be having 2-3 but will find out for sure on Firday. This is my first litter and to be honest, I started off shitting myself.. from the minute she was mated.. lol! I'm getting more relaxed as time goes by and as I feel more prepared... I've got my supplies, I've got my supports and I've got a better idea of what I need to do (yay!). Merrirose is a lovely kennel name!Here are a few pics of my lot, the first was my attempt at a belly shot a couple of days before she had the pups. The pups do have bedding, mum just prefers to scratch it out of the way each time i put it back in place! OMG becks, they are adorable! Gr Ch Skyehaven Fortune Shines (Zada) had 13 puppies last night. That's a while lotta puppies! I hope your friend enjoys the ride... lol! We are definitely having pups!!! Congrats on the positives and the stunning puppies!!! 13 would keep me on my toes for sure. Im not getting nervous yet though Im sure I will. I have a bit of experience though I am a worry wart.
