It reminds me of my uncles and the kelpies on their sheep stations in the 70's, and the division made between the working dogs and the "house" dogs, australian silky terriers and crosses of (often with foxies). No luxuries for the working dogs that they would get used to. Having said that, often when they had one or two working dogs, they did bend the rules in term of affection towards them. Perry's Mum Posted February 13, 2011 Share Posted February 13, 2011 Most Koolie breedes spend a lot of time socialising their puppies before they go off to new homes.
