Canvac Or Protech?

I've just had a look at my puppy's vacination certificate and have noticed that his first 2 vacs at 7 weeks and then 9 weeks were Protech C3 and then the 12 week booster is Canvac C3. Should this make any difference?

The vets probably use different brands(assuming the other vacs were before he came home), but if you're concerned I'd ask your vet ;)

I can't say i've paid attention to it!

Parvo is rife up here. After a lot of research I chose to do the 7 (rather than 6) weeks, and additional 9 week which normally I wouldn't have done but whole litters have been lost that only had 6 week vacs, and then the 12 week one. I've spoken to 3 different vets and lots of vet nurses who have all confirmed that protocol for this particular time. I only do the C3. If it were winter I wouldn't be so concerned...its made socialising him a bit of a headache but you met him in Albany...shy he is not!!!!

Protech is made by Fort Dodge, Canvac is made by CSL. They both do Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus

Same sort of deal although I think Protech claim immunity sooner or something to that effect.

How come he had 2 vacc's 2 weeks apart?
