SkySoaringMagpie
OK, after a weekend away in the rain with an Afghan we're in the market for a portable dryer. Do you have one and would you recommend it? What's the brand? Do you work yours off a generator?
dancinbcs
Oldfields Dryers are all but indestructable. Mine is about 25 years old and still going strong. Good dryers and great value. As far as I know you can run any dryer off a generator, provided you have a powerful enough generator. All dryers use a lot of power so a generator just designed to run lights and small electrical appliances wouldn't run any dryer.
espinay2
Ezycoat. Last forever. Easy to maintain. Parts easily available if you need them (mine hasnt though I have just bought a new nozzle after 10 years!) The single motor (one I have) is reasonably powerful and has two speeds. Easily transportable. You should have no problem running it off a gennie. (Email or phone/text me if you are coming tonight and want me to bring it along for a look.)
