k9angel
We got you from a free to good home ad because Jack needed a friend for his now 4 yr old male guinea pig, Popcorn and I felt sorry for you. Your previous owner lived in an apartment and you never got to see grass or a garden. We bought you home and you and Popcorn hit it off immediately, a little too so at times as you's would give eachother 'piggybacks' (both boys) You had a gorgeous loooooong ginger and white coat and the brightest red eyes. We'd had you well over a year, but today the heat was just too much for you. You were fine when I gave you your icy peas, lettuce, and apple and changed your water this morning. I even used the bottled water from the fridge as it was nice and cold and already so hot outside. Although I sprayed you's gently with cool water throughout the day and had you in your fav. shady spot - it wasn't enough. When I went out to give you's some cold watermelon, I found you - gone, forever. You were called away to a better place. You are the first pet Jack has lost and it made me cry to see him cry. He will miss playing with you and giving you piggy cuddles. He thinks you are up in the stars now running around a big green garden and playing with all the other little guinea pigs up there. I hope you are. Goodbye for now Oscar. R.I.P. little friend. XXX
