tigerkyra
Hi to all...a quick BARF question... I've fed my old (now deceased) dog BARF for years with a pretty standard recipe made up for him by someone knowledgable. I'm now feeding my new puppy according to the BARF diet and have read several books on it. The original recipe included a large variety of vegetables, but I'd now like to add in some beetroot and pumpkin occassionally and wasn't sure about what parts of the vegetable to include, ie I'm guessing that I would not use the pumpkin skin, and would probably use the whole beetroot (leaves and all), but just wanted to check with others who are already using them. It would also be great to perhaps get a list going of preperation of other fruit and vegetable preperation as a great resource, if you have any other specific information to add. Sandra777
I always cooked the pumpkin when I used to go to all this bother - and they got it skin and all.
