BMAK
my ideas; my main thought was border collie cross staffy ? * short coated border collie (blue eye and over all look) * staffy (brindle and belly) * whippet (brindle, long face and legs) * koolie (blue eye / pigmented nose)) * cattle ? ... your ideas? parrotpea
She is very cute. I reckon there's a bit of coolie and whippet in there.

Crisovar
Can't see any whippet, see a brindle and white mutt. Could be anything.
persephone
A lot of dogs can have 'the eye' not just koolies She is a lovely HEINZ pup. (for the young ones ...HEINZ used to advertise "57 varieties" )

_PL_
there was one at hawkesbury with the same eyes! Brindle too. Was listed as staffy x and I think heinz57 is a good guess.
chran
Is there a test that can figure out the x origins? I'm curious what mine is - so far got "a terrier of some sort", "cairn terrier", "a bit of westie in him". OH likes to think that he's a purebreed Cairn. I don't think so because he's too big for a Cairn (11kg).

There could be a number of breeds in there.

BMAK
Can't see any whippet, see a brindle and white mutt.Could be anything. mutt is a bit harsh for this face heinz57 and cross mix sounds a little nicer haha i deffinately see koolie in her, just her behaviour alerts me to an actieve breed. anyway her name is Tess and she is incredibly smart
Ons
it was her face and shape of her head rather than her eyes that made me think coolie no matter what, Tess is seriously cute!
chran
He's definitely got a lot of adorable in him! Yes, and unfortunately (for us) he knows it He gets free pats from strangers on walks & vet visits. He's definitely a terrier x, border terrier is a good guess, not sure about SBT - probably explain his bigger size & voracious appetite (eats more than my OH ). Quickasyoucan
There is a silky terrier of some sort round the corner from us that was "got to" by a staffy (not stafford brindle BYB type thing). A couple of the pups are still around they look very much like your boy though a lot hairier
