Leema
March isn't here yet, but I have several people who want to put their bitches to my stud dog - and at least 3 in March. How do you organise yourself if 3 bitches come in at the same time and are all wanting to use your dog? It probably won't happen, but I do like to have a plan. Jed
My recommendation is to throw your skirt over your head, and run around in circles, screaming. Seriously - if he is a fit healthy boy, he wont mind a girl every afternoon for a while - and if the worst comes to the worst, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. He will cope. Dunno whether you will ......
Bullbreedlover
:D I dont think he will mind at all. Just make sure his diet is balanced to meet his needs and wants. be wary of cross contamination of infections though from bitches to dog to bitches
laneka
A stud dog in his prime, fit and healthy can mate two bitches in the one day. One first thing in the morning and the other in the evening. Make sure he is well rested between matings and maybe a bit extra food during this time.
Rysup
I like the skirt over your head idea LOL He will cope, you might not though!!
PomsNZ
Dont you remember the days of first love? Youd go rabbits, all the time! once in the morn, once at night, maybe wake up in middle of night for a quickie..... Hes just going to fall in love. a LOT. once their heat is over, they just 'want to be freinds' and hell deal with that too.. or they can get married and never have it ever again
becks
Personally I would just accept the better bitch to visit the dog - I am not a fan of 'popular sire' syndrome.
EISHUND
Not sure how experienced your male is with multiple bitches, but I've had one male who fell in love with the first bitch he served and wouldn't serve the other. A little tip, wipe the vulva of the 1st bitch, and then spread her 'smell' around the base of the tail & back of the legs of the 2nd one. Works a treat if you come across this little issue

WreckitWhippet
Make sure the bitches have been swabbed and there are no nasties. I'd be seriously pissed if I booked my bitch in and there was a problem from him serving two. Raw food and lots of red meat will keep him going. As for the stud dog, he'll be bragging about this to his grandkids.

Leema
Okay, glad to know that this doesn't seem to be taboo! With any luck they will come in one a week or something, but I just like to be prepared for the worst. And I'm sure March will be his best month yet! Jed
I didn't say this before, because I guessed the dog was titled, and this was not his first stud duty - but, it is always a good idea to either title or show a dog a fair bit, before he is used on bitches. Most owners know how their own dogs will be, but for novice owners, be aware it sends some dogs quite ratty, and they are so busy thinking of sex in the ring, they don't get their act together. benshiva
I would INSIST that the bitches be swabbed for infection prior to coming to my dog.
Leema
Dog is already titled. He is only in the country until the beginning of 2012, hence the 'rush' of sorts.
Bilbo Baggins
I had a 2 girls come on heat at the same time. Took them to the boy on alternate nights. It was usually around 6pm. By the second night he was waiting at the door at 6pm.
