Thanks guys very proud of her and think it will be a while before we come down from cloud nine - I am enjoying every minute and it still doesn't quite seem real yet. Certainly been a tough year and full of plenty of emotions thats for sure.

Our brag for the week was the ADAA GP at Tamworth. All 3 dogs were just amazing. For her part Wikki got to have a run in the WAC fundraiser training on Friday morning and spent the weekend thinking she was going to be allowed to play again - sadly she is going to have to wait for another 3 or 4 weeks. (Poor Woo).

CK was my favourite boy all weekend. He ran HARD every time he came out of the crate and was super happy with everything that went on. We didn't get a lot of results - I'm still working out my timing with my new quick puppy dog. This was his best run for the weekend - 2nd place in Regular Maxi Gamblers.

Then there was Xena. She and her team (including Sobriquet and Flyte from DOL) won the Maxi Team Challenge. She managed to win the Medallion Stakes Invitational Final, but the biggest surprise of all was 3rd place in the Midi Individual All Round Challenge event. Sooooooo proud to be running competitively with such AWESOME dogs. She finished up with 9 cards for the weekend. :)

Was also great to meet some other DOL members and see their fantastic puppies. See you all next year!

Back from agility trialling at Launceston Royal - we were on the AFL Hawks Tasmanian ground at Aurora Stadium/York Park - boy did the desperate call-offs echo round the stadium :o .

Had fun with my Kirra - who was feral for the first few runs - we're both way out of practice, and someone replaced my tunnel reluctant dog with a tunnel suck  . Settled down as the trial went on, and although only a few Qs, had some good near misses. We had a 1st place Q (only qualifier) in one MA run, 2nd place Q in one ADO, and ..... drum roll - 2 9+ year old BCs and their ancient handlers, managed to snag a Q in Masters Strat Pairs - in spite of Kirra and me having to make a dash all the way up the ring to fix the DW, and then all the way back to do our sequence which went all the way up the middle of the ring. (We didn't have a plan B  - had enough trouble coming up with Plan A  ) - made time by 0.87 sec.

Well done Tassie and Kirra :cheer: (and anyone else I missed from earlier :o )

I have a bit of a brag too :) Yesterday Zora was at the Perth Royal show... she was totally unfazed at all by the crowds, noises, kids, rides, screaming ect. I even took her into the obedience area and did some heelwork and obedience with her - and she was fully focused :cheer: She also got baby of breed and some nice comments from the judge.
