The Spotted Devil
Thanks gals - really nice of you I'm enjoying everything about training/competing with Ziggy at the moment - we are both learning so much and I am much more relaxed about the end result. We also train with some great people
Nik
Small brag from me- but I'm still at the stage where a small brag is a huge thing!!! We had a members comp at my club today, and came first in Novice with 183. We were marked quite hard (a fellow class member lost 10 points on her recall for a slight lag at the start) Gives me great confidence for my next trial (in CCD)
xena98
Hi Guys Had to put in my brag well it was a fail but too me and other udx triallers would understand lol. Gabby nearly passed but for a towel. It was that windy I am suprised that she could even smell anything but she did her seekback considering that she doesnt like my article but ud its fine (must be a coolie thing Xena had done the same thing) did her sit and stand in the heelwork in motion which was what I had problems with. But we are still stuck in ud cause of that first article she thinks is going to kill her so her new trick is too jump the jump on the second sendaway arghhhhhh. Never ending with them and open she passed with 192 and second if though we were competing with those swallows that were flying low to the ground and stirring her up lol. Inka was so enthusiastic in open that we gallopped around everywhere and the brains dropped out and she anticipated the retrieve over the hurdle but managed a pass in ud with 182 and a sub cause we forgot to sit in a halt but I am so proud of Gabby as this was her second attempt cheers Danni
ness
Bugger about UDX Danni but like you said the conditions were miserable out there so I am sure Gabby will get it together soon . Well done on your Open and your UD with Inka. Now where is DSO hiding - I know she has a huge brag with Jess from this morning!!!!
bedazzledx2
Well done! UDX is a really tough class...PhD for dogs!!!! We have had several of those nearly passes. This weekend was the down in PIM...would have been a 194 round! Just when you get things right, something else goes pearshaped!!! Mind you the down in PIM is a bug bear...for some reason he's not keen on it and it requires more work...sigh Hi Guys Had to put in my brag well it was a fail but too me and other udx triallers would understand lol. xena98
yes I am waiting for DSO. The weather was absolutely horriable at least it didnt rain until the end of the presentation. I thought she had done really well for her second attempt considering that yesterday we were still not getting my seekback and we were still not sitting when told to sit. Dont know when our next trial will be as some agility trials will be on. I am waiting to see what can get stuffed up. I also thought she was very good on her last multi retriev went to do no 3 told her to back which she alway does nope to busy looking at uncle Graham that she didnt even turn so I didnt think she would do it buy yep from that angle went off and got it no worries lol

Agility Dogs
We had a great weekend at the ADAA nationals in Tamworth last week. Mr CK had a brilliant outing - finished off his Australian Agility Games Dog title with a great run in Snooker as well as his Senior Aust Agility Dog title (Intermediate level) with not 1, but 2 Open standard passes. WOO HOO. Xena and I got better and better all weekend and managed 2 purple cards (wins in advanced) along with a swag of others. Very happy with my puppies. Tay.
Way to go AD and your pups! ADAA titles/classes confuse me, but sounds like you did great Agility trial here today, Jess managed a Q and 2nd in novice agility and had two super close, 1 fault runs (1 bar in ex jumping, 1 refusal in nov agility). Still can break Jess' 'one pass per day' routine
