They are very good for your garden as they predate on aphids - hoverflies are your friend you are turning into the bugqueen!!!!! Remind me what your camera and lens set up is, I realise your photos also take talent, which shows why I cant get the results you do. Now I have the 7D, and these were with the Tamron 60mm macro. Hand held, but he was very obliging and sat still on leaves and let me get very close! All the hovering ones are pants, he even hovered directly in front of my lens a few times and I still couldn't get the little bugger That will be my next mission, to get a decent in flight pic Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
