Guest CaptainCourageous
It’s with sadness at the loss of a friend and joy for a life well lived that I report the passing of the Schipperke Ch Semois Cinders ET ( http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=1336 ). Cinders was a trailblazer, being the first Schipperke in Australia to achieve an Endurance Test pass. Cinders was born on 28 July 1996, bred by Julie Sawyer in Mt Beauty. She was exhibited by Deidre Plevey in Seymour before being transferred to me in July 1998. Her show career was successful, but she didn’t continue to Grand Champion as I had commenced showing other bitches by the time she reached 700 points. Cinders also competed in some Obedience trials at the Encouragement level. Cinders had one litter, in October 1998, producing Gr Ch Hapipet Hobbits Pride, Ch Hapipet Marsanne Delight and five others. She is grand-dam to Ch Hapipet Master Blaster, Gr Ch Beadale Like A Hurrican, Gr Ch Beadale Little Captain and others She is great grand-dam to Ch Hapipet Allthatyoudream, Ch Hapipet Mystery Solved JD HP-N NAC, Ch Beadale U Son Ova Gun, Ch Beadale Sir Lancealot, Ch Silkoak Pandoras Box, Ch Silkoak Obsidian, Ch Ratatattat Liesbeth, Ch Beadale Tu Die For, Ch Beadale Tell No Tales, Ch Beadale Queen Adelaide and others. Whilst being an inside-dog most of her life, Cinders spent her last couple of years outside in retirement premises, with a large yard, shady fruit trees and sufficient distractions to continue as an active watchdog with a daily timetable. She passed peacefully and is now with her forebears on the Great Barge at the end of the Rainbow, looking on with happiness and pride at the many successes of her descendents in Australia. Farewell Cinders, we shall all miss you and remember you fondly. Philip Semmel Hapipet Kennels

Blakbelgian
She was a special girl. She was our first brood bitch and she produced our first bred GRAND Champion. BB
