Boronia
Not exactly dog related (except for the photo of Fairfield where the RSPCA is) but pretty amazing as you just move your mouse over the photos to see the floods, so I thought I'd post it in case some of you didn't see it on ABC News on-line. Troy..please move post if I have put it in the wrong forum http://www.abc.net.au/news/infographics/ql...beforeafter.htm
tdierikx
It's even more bewildering if you actually have lived in any of those areas... T.
Ashanali
One of the photos shows where our friend's business went under. Another shows the area we took wedding photos for a couple on Dec 10th The image at Graceville shows a street that I ended up driving down on Sunday when avoiding the hordes of traffic on the road. I have been to many of the flood affected areas but it was by far the worst of any that I saw. Entire walls ripped out of homes. The force of the water must have been strong along that part of the river. Another image shows a street I lived on about 5 years ago. I went down there to help with the clean up on Saturday. It's horrific.

mish13
Amazing web site, I spent Sunday at Westlake feeding the troops and got to go into a number of the riverfront homes. It was heart breaking to see the damage and the possessions just thrown onto the streets.
Kirislin
there was even a cow on a house roof, I wonder if it got down safely.
Swizzlestick
there was even a cow on a house roof, I wonder if it got down safely. I read in the article that they "scared if off the roof". Hope he/she had a safe landing and didn't fracture a leg or pelvis. Don't suppose there are too many ways to remove a cow from a roof though! Not something one sees every day!
