Kirislin
After many years of trying, I finally harvested some home grown veggies! I just had to take a photo, and sitting behind them is the reason why until now I have not succeeded. Yep one of the so called "baddest dogs in town" Puck. Look how pretty they are! He's giving Penny the evil eye thinking he's laying claim to them. In yer dreams Pucky! aww come on mummy, just one? Kirislin
Wow, they look amazing! Yum! Yes, Puck thinks so too. I've already eaten 2 and they were lovely, I've put the others well out of reach of him, he's a notorious counter surfer.

Frodo's mum
yummo they look like nice tomatoes ....do you know what type they are ? I put in early tomatoes hoping frosts wouldn't get them..they didn't but boy this year they just won't ripen hasn't been a really warm summer lots of cooler night it's a nice feeling picking stuff you have grown yourself...and they taste sooooo much better than shop brought fruit/vegies specially carrots ..so sweet and tasty
tikira
Great work Kirislin. Once you have had fresh vegies "store bought" will never taste any good again, and obviously Puck thinks the same. We LOVE our vegie patch, but keeping chooks, cows, rabbits, rats and bugs out is a full time job, thankfully our dogs can't access it. Di
