owebeewan_1
Hi there, I own a Hyundai iload and I would love to get some custom cages made to help me transport my large breed dogs around. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to go or people to ask or websites to look at? Any assistance would be great. I dont think collapsible cages would really be secure enough so looking for something more permanent. Any suggestions? Cheers,
RuralPug
Check your local yellow pages for engineering firms. Specialists will be listed under categories such as Motor Body Builders, Trailer Manufacturers, Custom Stock Crates etc. Or just find your local Steel Fabricators and they will probably be able to recommend a customiser for you. or google.... Wangaratta engineers South east SA engineers found one in NSW!!! I have to add that most small engineering firms would quite happily custom make and most of them don't have websites..you may have to visit a few and chat with them in person (with your van). Good luck and let us see how you go!

Jessm
We have 3 collapsable crates in an iload ( + one that isnt collapsible) and we have found them to be stable/secure enough. We've had them in there around 8 months now and are going great I can't remember where the other crate is from but I can get details for you if you like? Kissindra
I have a collapsable crate in a hiace, we've got it secured to anchor points at the bottom as well as over the top - doesn't move an inch!

Some of the people at our kennel club have had cages made for their cars with these guys, they are really well made and don't seem to rattle
Jake-K9
I can vouch for the quality of Colin's work (puppybars). He is very busy right now though so you may be waiting a fair while for work, also not sure how difficult it would be with you both in different states.
