I am looking for someone to make a kennel along the lines of this:

Just I want larger eaves at the front and probably with insulation.

Does anyone know anyone in Sydney who makes such a thing to order? Can be an individual or business.

Why don't you try a TAFE or Community College see if someone there could make one for you someone in Bunnings might too. Never hurts to ask.

I bought this one in western Sydney from a cubby company, we bought it as a flat pack, but I think you could buy them ready made too.

Dan you can buy insulation packs from Enfield produce. Might be cheaper to buy a kennel, insulate it yourself and have someone just build you an eave. Pet Barn have gorgeous kennels atm with eaves but from memory perhaps not big enough for a Dane. Looks for a 2nd hand cubby on ebay too? But then there's getting it home....$.

Thanks guys! I can tackle insulating it myself. Its really hard to buy dane sized kennels and will look more closely at cubbies too. Have also been looking at garden sheds

is the cujo kennel big enough? cause you could buy a pop up gazebo to put over it. I use one in my dog run, well anchored, it never moves. When the roof gives out I put a tarp over the frame in winter, shade cloth in summer works well

Quite often I believe these guys will make things to order for people, for those that don't know it is where men who have an interest in carpentry and other shed type activies and don't have their own shed.

could also try rent a hubby or look in your local paper for a handyman .

Not sure about down there, but the sheltered workshops often make special projects to order. We had several great kennels made here on a customised cubby house plan (without the veranda & cottage window or window flower box !!!!!!)

The men's shed was a good idea too.

I just made some kennels about the size you are talking about, the materials alone cost me $300 and the labour for each one is about eight hours, basically you are asking someone to build a small shed, so $600 is the likely price you will be looking at. Or you could buy a cheap flat pack one that will fall to pieces in no time.
