Just a little wee update but a very important one

Funds raised so far for Scrappys vet costs have reached $660.00.

:(:(:(

I would dearly love to take the funds down and present them to the Uni but sadly the nightmare of getting back up the range on the roads may well mean I have to post a chq, which doesnt quite feel the same does it???

The accounts lady apparantly is on leave so I didnt get any luck there.

You guys

How else can I put it?

Total money received right at this moment is $1510.00

Money spent at Pet Barn, K Mart etc $750.00

Money still in account $760.00

ALSO

Pet barn and K Mart's generosity have amounted to an extra $200.00 worth of discounts

so..."$950.00" dollars worth of goods for $750.00

PLUS Pet Barn have also donated "freebies" which are extra to the above. Slightly damaged goods, ie shampoo, kitty litter.

PLUS Bedding, towels, dog leads, dog coats, meat bones, donated by others.

eta

not forgetting dog food and cat food also donated by locals around the district

Splendidly done. Marvellous to see "the coal face" and know the faces the money reaches, without deductions or inroads. My donations went to people lliving close to the Wivenhoe wall, whose horses were swept away, and houses inundated. Friends of a friend. Exhibitors also received donations, sorry stonebridge, otherwise I could help these people. You are doing a wonderful job with the donors.

Just to let you all know that $775.00 has been received by Gatton Uni Small Animal vet centre and will be put on Scrappys account.

A wonderful effort to those who contributed to this and to the money raised to buy goods.

I know this might sound a bit silly...but...

Thank You from the bottom of the animals hearts and a big Thank you from me.

:laugh::laugh:

I will endeavour to get an update of all the animals progress in the next couple of days

I hope that pretty much covers Scrappy's account.

That'd be great to hear updates about the animals' progress.

Thanks for finding a way we could help.

Well....no it didnt cover her account all up. The vet bill was rather huge but we have just made a fantastic dent in it for which Scrappys owner is immensely grateful.

I just spoke to Jeff and he has been in Grantham for a big part of the last two weeks, still helping to search.

He told me that the town and surrounding areas are just horrific.

Maybe we will get more donations!!!!!

regards

scooby
