HugUrPup
Unfortunately, the mother of the person who took Ollie has had an asthma attack for the first time in years They are sure it was from Ollie as she hasn't had any hay-fever or anything and this was sudden. I was getting asthma from him also. This is so disappointing and will be so confusing for him. Hopefully I can get him in to foster care straight from them to make is easier on him. *sigh*

Her Majesty Dogmad
That's a real shame, esp for the dog. I work for PAWS which is Pug Rescue in NSW. Any pug that we get, even older dogs, are rehomed very quickly, many calls received. We do homechecks and obviously place very carefully. Ollie should soon find a new home. Why not speak to a rescue group in VIC? They could help I'm sure, at least with some advertising for you. megan_
I believe that HugUrPup has been in contact with Vic Pug Rescue (even before the rehoming) and agreed they to take Ollie on. HugUrPup then found a home directly for Ollie. From her other posts, I believe that Ollie isn't in any danger and will go to Vic Pug Rescue or back to HugUrPup until VPR can find a foster carer. I hope I haven't added more to the confusion. HugUrPup - while it is less than ideal, he will cope and when he is in his new forever home, he will forget all about it! Try not to stress to much over it.

Thanks for explaining.

~Anne~
Bugger, what a shame Pugger. Looks like you might be best going back to the original plan and allowing Joanna to arrange foster care for him and look for a permanent placement. Sorry it didn't work out, it sounded like a perfect match on both sides. Oh, and Ollie won't be confused. He'll settle straight back in I'll bet and will have no ill effects. Trust me, Pugs are pretty well bomb proof.
