Northern Beaches And Sydney People

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone out there is willing to help me out with my dog... He is extremely fear aggressive, and in the 3 years I've had him, he has gotten much better, but only with me and 2 other people (one of whom flew back to the US yesterday). His training has been consistent and has taken up most of my free time outside school and work--I have had zero social life which I am fine with

So if there is anyone who is game (he will probably be muzzled just to be safe) and has a relatively quiet demeanour about them, we could perhaps organise a meet? You are of course welcome to bring your own dog(s) as all mine are very social. I don't mind travelling past the CBD to the innerwest or eastern suburbs either. My work schedule is quiet at the moment and I don't start school until March.

Much appreciated if anyone can help or has any ideas (if you're curious, I use clicker training and desensitization with him). ;)

Bugger - I'm housebound for the next 3 weeks at least otherwise I'd help out. If you still need help in about a month let me know ;) (I've dealt with a couple of fear aggressive dogs I've fostered before so have a little experience)

Hi Hanna, I'm on the northern beaches and would be happy to help out - we can help each other out. I have 3 dogs - a mini schnauzer, dobexkelpie and a dobexrottie. I have been walking with little dogs wherever possible to assist my dogs as well (2 are both fine) one is a little excited with them at first but once we keep moving and walking in a brisk way, she completely relaxes and is fine. My mum's golden (she is a delta trainer) who is also on the northern beaches would be perfect for you. He has helped so many dogs with fear aggression and does not react at all to them. He ignores them and will happily walk alongside. If you like, I can organise for us all to meet and we can walk together. Let me know.
