Stellapup
Hi all We have recently purchased a Stafford pup which is our first. brinashay
I Don't know any trainers in WA, but a suggestion would be to select a couple & go & watch, look at the handlers & dogs body language, do they teach Positive Reward, etc. One of the best tools we found when training our staffy lead work was to start with a NO PULL harness , this has a clip on the chest for the lead & when they pull it turns them back to you, after a few week we were able to go to a flat collar successfully. Guest Willow
Kathy Kopeli McLeod: LINK Desma's Dog Training: LINK I know both these trainers personally & they are wonderful. There are a couple more but I need to dig out the mobile numbers as they don't have websites.

We live south of perth and were wondering if anyone can recommend a good trainer as we really want to do what we can to get things right I find this interesting. You've bought the pup & now you want someone to train the pup! What's wrong with you taking your pup to an obedience club? I admit that some are better than others, but it's the owners that need the training & not the pup.
