*Oscar*
Hello, My 7 month old golden is booked in to be desexed tomorrow. Unfortunately they dont open until 8am and I need to drop him there at 8am so as to only be 45min late to work. My work are not tolerant of tardiness. For this reason I cant really call the vet for there ideas so thought Id post here. My boy normal goes to bed in our bathroom (babygate on door) and he has his bed from when he was a pup that he has completely destryoed my removing stuffing ages ago. Well silly me decided that tonight he could have his bed moved from usual spot in lounge to the bathroom. I felt bad he doesmt have a bed and his shown no interest in attacking bed for 2 months. Ive woken up to get daughter bottle and sometime in last 3 hours his attacked bed and my bathroom is full of white stuffing. I can see where his been sick twice. One is 2 kibble biscuits and some grass. The other is some tennis ball coating and a fair amount of grass/weed. All the stuffing was dry so im assuming not swallowed and brought up. Im just not sure if his actually eaten any...also should I cancel desexing that his booked for? Sorry about grammer and spelling, its 1:30 and im on my phone. Parkeyre
Clean up the mess and give him a towel for the night. Going by what he's thrown up; it doesn't sound like he's eaten any. He should be fine for his desexing tomorrow, depending on what time his dinner was. PS: spelling is allowed to suck at 2am in the morning.
becks
If you are worried, ask the vet to xray his stomach, if he is bringing up lots of grass and bits of ball, he could have other things already in his stomach that can't be easily digested. *Oscar*
Took him to the vets and he did his usual car sickness vomit and only bile came up. Vet was happy that he probably didnt actually eat any as something would have come up in the massive episode he had in the car ;) Ive just called to check on him and his doing well in recovery Thank you for the replies. Was freaking out about him a little and being so early in the morning was probably not helpful. Edited January 7, 2011 by *Oscar*
