Danelady
Hi everyone! I have about a 15 meter by 10 meter area of Kikuyu Grass which has been pulled out of my back yard with an excavator which I need to find a new home or homes for! It's in slabs. It is the perfect dog grass, very hard wearing and drought tolerant and takes for ever to grow. So here is your chance to plant in an instant dog lawn! I am in Somerville which is Mornington Peninsula area. Easy access with a trailer as I am on acreage. You will need to bring some muscle power with you as well and a metal garden fork. Please email or phone if you are interested for my address. It was taken out yesterday afternoon (5th Jan) so its still all alive and healthy. 03 59 77 88 41 Jo
Erny
I'd be very happy to take this (at least some of it) off your hands. Not sure I can organise the trailer or the muscle though (save for my own, but that might do ). I'll see what I can do and contact you. Danelady
Hi Erny, apparently you can 'store' it for awhile until you have your lawn prepared. You leave it all in a pile and spray it with water and keep a tarp on top of it to keep the moisture in there and it will be fine.
