leopuppy04
Now that I'm showing more dogs, I'm finding I'm going through the chalk/ potato flour like it's going out of fashion! Where do you buy it in bulk? Usually I've got it from the health food store/ supermarket, Seb and Gloria, but I just empty it way too fast now..... any suggestions? leopuppy04
Thanks BB! I'm guessing that most people just buy it as I do then?!?!
JulesP
Even with the horses I've only seen people using the small blocks LP. I used to use talc powder. That might be cheaper. Got even my red strained pony white legs white! I used to apply it when the animal was still a bit soggy and then brush it out when dry.
mirawee
I have a large container (5L?) of loose chalk we got when we were showing Shelties (16 years ago!) We showed the shelties for a couple of years although not that regularly and then I have used it for my horses for the last 10 years. I think it is still half full I just got it from a dog show supply shop

Shelby
Aziah - you should have seen the jar I bought back from the States for a friend. It was around 1kg of kolestrol in a jar & cost me $9.00US Amazing when they charge $25 for a small jar here. Also bought myself 2 tubes of kolestrol which is much easier to use. Sway - will certainly order my powder from you next time - great price
