periannath
Don't forget dogs can DIG. Make sure you have good footings or you may come home a mass murder! We used to have chickens and the all the dogs had been raised with them and the pups just followed the older dogs example and didn't bother them. These days I actively have to teach the pups that they don't hunt any little critters. KitKat
Well....so far the dogs are very very interested (the stim collar is in play now tho), i have work this afternoon so i'm trying to decide if i let the chooks stay in their pen - can't be seen by the dogs, only heard. Or if i lock the chooks in their shed which has the back shed wall that the dogs can get close to - now besser blocked and pinned along the bottom edge. Will see how the dogs go over the next few hours. I vibration stimmed one while i was inside and they didn't know i was watching, he was testing the besser bricks - and they haven't been back to it in the last 15-20mins. Will give it more time and keep an eye on them.
