Katie P
Hi everyone, I have noticed over the past day or so that my pup (maltese x) has quite dry nose and mouth- when he licks me there is barely any saliva. I may just be a overtly concerned parent but is this a dehydration issue or is it perfectly normal? He has easy access to water etc. Thanks! W Sibs
Does your pup seems like he is uncomfortable? Is he eating and drinking properly? Going to toilet normally? Sometimes Charlie (my CKCS x) gets dry nose and mouth but I notice that happening when the air is dry. Unless he is showing me any signs of being tired, weariness or he isn't acting like himself... I'm not overly concern. Charlie isn't a huge water drinker by nature. Sometimes he has one huge drinking session and that will last him for the day (and the dogs have 4 drinking stations around the house).
