i don't usually whinge on forums i also posted this in general discussion but last night i attended the wollondilly ABKC (NSW) show. I was appalled by the inconsiderate exhibitors on the grounds. The grounds were roped off obviously so no cars will drive on the fields. At the end of the night yes it was hot and late some exhibitors obviously experienced going by their set up and trailers decided to lift the ropes and drive on the fields they were apparently asked by club members to move the vehicles off the grounds and refused!!! I'm sorry but i find this totally unacceptable shame on you people (no idea of who they are so if theya re even on here) clubs are lucky enough to be able to get grounds and run trials for YOU is it that hard to abide by simple rules. Everyone else was in the same boat we all had to carry our things. I congratulate one exhibitor who was incapacitate and had a mobility scooter she had her dogs in a trolley that was pulled along by her scooter that is dedication. She managed to be able to get all her stuff to her car without driving on the grounds. Please people think before you do things i then heard other exhibitors wanting to do the same thing then commenting that there was a lady telling them to get off the conversation continued with oh well what can they do when you have the car on the grounds just put the stuff in your car and drive off what can they do. True what can they do but why do you need to be inconsiderate to the poor club running the trial for YOUR benefit.

Please remember that all committee/ club members are volunteers the clubs are usually hiring or borrowing the grounds and have probably been given rules and conditions of use the least we as exhibitors can do is follwo simple things such as no lifting ropes so as you can drive under them obviously its roped off for a reason.

I am not affliated with this club in any shape or form other than as an exhibitor. Please in 2011 lets make showing/trialling and anything we do fun and be considerate to others it sure will go along way

On the same token I had a situation where I was boxed in the parking area of a Agi Show here in Victoria last year. I was told by an official to drive around the peimiter of the roped off area so I could leave as I was parked on the front of the rope line. He dropped the rope for me to drive over and I slowly drove alongside the rope to the exit. Some female exhibitor was walking her dog and dawdled infront of me deliberately so I had to come to a stop as she wouldn't move aside. As I pulled up she yelled at me "YOU"RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN HERE!". "I was instructed to go this way by an official as I'm boxed in by incorrectly parked cars." I explained. She gave me a dirty look and moved aside.

People also need to be considerate about where they park and also think about why people might be where it appears they shouldn't be.

BTW not suggesting that this was the case in your instance.

Wholeheartedly agree!!

Someone broke a toilet seat at Lancefield. Small thing but it left me fuming!! We are so do lucky to be able to camp on ground but if idiots keep making their own rules and disrespecting the property we will not be welcome back!

If you are not prepared to abide by the rules- don't enter. If you can't be bothered carrying your stuff to the car- don't enter!!!

Most grounds are also used by other sporting groups and dozens of cars will do nothing but churn up the turf.
