Dova
Anyone out there going to the NYE trial at Gawler tonight ? I'm entered BUT if the change doesn't come through before I leave or the locusts are to thick through Mt Pleasant think I'll give it a miss. Yeah I know "wimp" but Pebbles feels the heat really bad & not being able to see out the car window bothers me, especally when there's roos & idiots on the road ;). Hope to get there though, had a great time last year :D so I've got my & all the gear ready to go.
ness
Yep I will be there with my two ferals although one might get the night off if the change doesn't come through. Other should be good to go she has been throwing UD gloves at my head since 8:30 this morning .

Izzi would be fine but she's the least likely to pass obed or jumping, there's no sheep out there :D, not sure how Pebbles will do in open obed. but she loves the jumping ;). ness
Jumping should be on later so it should hopefully have cooled by then anyway .
xena98
yep I'm going! I would say it would start later though being 40. I'm not doing the obedience only doing the jumping and the lovely strategic pairs lol see ya tonight
piper
Temp has already "dropped" to 35 at Edinburgh so they may not delay the start. Dova - are the locusts still around there? Thought they would have moved on by now. They were bad at Gawler a week or so a go but gone now and are as far down Main North Rd as Munno Para Shops but not in the numbers that I saw them in Gawler and Cockatoo Valley. Good luck to those competing. I may or may not drop in to say hi.
ness
We were down at Glenelg and it was only 26 so think the change is around the place. Hope it comes in nicely in the next couple of hours.

I am so glad the idea of the trial has taken off. When I first mentioned it when I was on committee some of them initially thought I had rocks in my head I think. LOL Never know next year I may even actually have Jazz trained to go in something, mind you that will also depend on when she comes in season and has her litter. ness
Piper - well for the first time it was actually worth going to. Its so much easier tackling the long drive home again when you have a pass in something rather than driving home empty handed. Was a lovely night of trialling in the end especially since the cool change came in nicely.
RubyStar
Sounds like it was a great night! Congrats to everyone's passes! Wish we had a trial here in NYE, instead I went to a show and watched. Left around 12.30am, I was soooooo ready for bed LOL. No idea how long everyone else stayed for, but there weren't that many people left though.
