Starkehre
Hi All,so we are all talking about our dogs, and training, and bikes etc. but who is actually ENTERING an ET this year? We know the dates are: NSW: 10 July 2011 - Grafton Dog Obedience Club (Grafton) 7 August 2011 - Dogs NSW (Erskine Park) ACT: TBA - Dogs ACT (Exhibition Park In Canberra - EPIC) VIC: 25 May 2011 - Hungarian Vizsla Club 5 June 2011 - Murray Valley Obedience Dog Club 11 June 2011 - Dalmatian Club 25 June 2011 - GSD Club (Cherry Lake Reserve, Altona) 2 July 2011 - East Gippsland Dog Obedience Club (Lake Guthridge) SA: 25 June 2011 - German Shepherd Dog Club of SA QLD: 31 July 2011 - Ipswich Dog Club WA: June (unsure of date) So who is entering and which tests? M Hi Abbiestar, We have entered Jag in the Dalmatian test and are now 4 days into training schedule. Early days but all going beautifully so far I believe there are several Rottis doing this test, so it should be a nice social get together for all of us. Probably be more Rottis than Dallys... I think there was last year also. Hope everyone else is going well with training etc. Have fun.

jacqui835
Wow I will have to do this with my dog when he's old enough. We currently do 15km at least 3 times a week at an average speed of 20-25km, would be awesome to have a title for it. I have to keep riding further and faster to tire him out, he's getting ridiculously fit... One thing though, if he's not on the limited or full register can he still get a title? He's just a mixed bred doberman.

Hi, DogsSA will get your dog registered, and it may also be an idea to talk to the German Shepherd Club of SA. They run the ET in Adelaide. Jenny DeLucia is the contact person. RubyStar
Took Ruby for a 3.5km bike ride yesterday, it's all we can manage at the moment so I think I'll be putting the ET off until next year She starts off with her head in line with the front wheel, half way through she is gaiting nicely next to the bike, then the last km she was lagging a bit. Need to build up her endurance and fitness! We managed to ignore 2 small breeds as we passed, then we passed a Lab or Lab X and it showed interest in her so it was on! I had already gotten off the bike to ensure I didn't fall off, but as they pulled to each other my chain came off my bike! Never put a chain back on a bike before, first time for everything Got back on and away we went! Might go again this arvo I don't get much opportunity to do this as riding around my own neighbourhood is not an option, too many offlead dogs and morons. Need to do it when I visit my parents
freundhund
Well the Diva's training today was an hour of swimming as the weather was gorgeous at the beach today. I enjoyed the swim as well. However, I think the beach days will be few and far between now with winter coming on.
