Excess Saliva / Dribbling

Hi,

need a bit of advice. Nelson, 4.5 yr BC, is dribbling, panting, excess saliva today. He had a small vomit this morning. Was fed last night. He seems a little bit anxious, his heart rate feels ok, (not fast).

I have checked his mouth for anything caught. He last had a bone xmas day.

Suggestions???

Will watch him for the next couple of hours and off to vet if anything changes.

usually means dog is feeling sick, nauseous. keep an eye on him and take him to vet immediately if he gets any worse. watch his fluid intake and urinary output too.

of course if in doubt or to be on the safe side straight to the vet.

Thanks guys,

He has since had a runny poop.

Once he did that he has settled and not panting and the saliva has settled. Still keeping an eye on him. Tummy is not firm at all. Only has the one vomit earlier this morning.

Won't feed today and start on chicken and rice tomorrow I think all being well.

Also, I changed food two weeks ago which gave my Collie Rough the runny poos. Took her off it and onto chicken and rice. He however was fine on it. But maybe it was not the food and a bug for him to have it now. ??? A new food would not take this long to react yeah ???

In the past they have been fine if I change foods, this one however might be different. (Nutro)

Keep you posted. ta again.
