Turkey Frames

It's that time of the year again - butchers and poultry places everywhere are selling turkey meat for Christmas and many just throw the frames out. Now's the time to ask them about keeping them for you!

Oh I was going to start a thread on this!!

If anyone knows anywhere in Sydney (Hills District) who have turkey frames, I'd love to know! Otherwise I might go suss out some local butchers tomorrow.

Lenards chicken shops do all their own chicken stuff so I imagine they would do the same for turkeys. Pick a store near you and give em a call.

Can't hurt to ring the big factories (inghams or whoever else does poultry these days) either as they would have to have frames left over from their processing if they don't all get sold for pet mince.

You could try Pet Stock. They ordered turkey necks for me which I pick up on Monday. So they might also have the turkey frames.

I tried to get turkey necks from Inghams and was told it wasn't possible so I would assume frames would be the same.
