Lobostar
Hi DOLers, I've been a bit of a forum lurker for a while but I'll finally be adopting my very own 4 legged friend late January/ Early February. I've been recommended some Perth vets by dog-owning friends but I'd like to see if I could get a few suggestions from you, the experienced DOLers. I will be checking them out in the flesh next week in preparation before adopting the pup. Thanks in advance!
CrazyCresties
Congratulations on your forthcoming new addition I've only been here a few months, but I can't fault Claremont Veterinary Clinic on the odd occasion I've used them, very friendly staff and seem great with the pets Some others may be able to recommend places that they've had more experience with

White Shepherd mom
Love my vet too, the Ocean Reef Veterinary Clinic in Heathridge. I go to Clive who has taken care of Casper a good few times (spleen removal, pancreatitis and ongoing care for his epilepsy). The vets nurses are also wonderful. They are on Carriddean (sp?) Rd. Their phone number 08 9401 0663 if you want to make an appointment. Edited December 22, 2010 by White Shepherd mom
BonJosie
Hi Lobostar We have just bought a new puppy, and will be taking her to Morley Vetcentre in the next couple of weeks. I will let you know how it goes if you like. Your Pet's Vet in Inglewood was another one we were considering and will try out if we don't get a good vibe from Morley. Anyone got any feedback on the after hours vet in Osborne Park?

Anyone got any feedback on the after hours vet in Osborne Park? Tried the Morley Vets and Inglewood and I would not take my dog to either, started using Beford Dianella but after they refused to refer me to specialists when needed I stopped going there too. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Barry Odesnik here in Ellenbrook, a good couple people on the forum use him and we all are very happy, the practice is Vital Vet, he has another lady working there on a monday though, the number is 6296
MaKoda
I need a good one SOR, in Southern River somewhere.. one that knows & undertsand all the needs associated with a Great Dane. I havent had much luck so far. I liked the service & support I received at Morley Vet Center when I had Mako castrated. I went there soley to see a female vet who owns a Dane but it was a 45mins drive (one way) from where I live.
BonJosie
Wow, that's a long drive for a vet! I booked Pudding's appointment for her vaccinations today, and the receptionist seemed nice, so I'll give them a go. I want to be really sure we make the right decision about where to get her speyed though, because even though lots of little four legged ladies go through it, that's a pretty big deal. Dogsfevr
Most of the dog folk in Southern River use either Risely vet (applecross) or Deepwood Gosnells. We drive past all the vets in the Canning Vale area to use Risely & will also be adding Deepwood as our second option
