I just feel useless...she has never tried to get out before so I have no idea what she would do, I know what she gets like when its stormy and she just pants, shakes and paces, but she doesnt seek a hiding place, nor does she seek comfort, so I have no idea if she would try and find a nice dry place to hide, or if she would let a stranger approach her, because she has never tried to get out before I just dont know what she would be thinking when she did get out :)

fingers crossed its her GG, do you know her microchip number should be on her vaccination card too

and then you can use that to check which registry at http://www.petaddress.com.au/

good luck

Thanks for the link, Ive got the number, but this is all I got when I searched it. I lost all the paperwork and her vaccination record ages ago...its somewhere really safe

The Number entered did not match any of our search sites; if you feel this is incorrect please contact the organisation that you believe your details are stored

Very recent registrations may not yet be searchable in petaddress

If you have her microchip number, it is really important that you contact a Council in NSW to check if the details are on the register so you can update the details.

My dad is going to contact the local council tomorrow morning

This has only made me even more determined to get those details changed, are you able just to re-register a microchip?

This may be the bleeding obvious. But have you notified the Council for your area? She may have been handed in to the pound...for your area. Or does the RSPCA shelter at Dakabin count for your pound?

Quick letterbox drop in all surrounding streets. Big notices at local service stations. Asking for info on sightings too.

Any answer from the 'Found notice' text message yet?

Im Moreton, last time I checked that website it was a mess, ill have a look now

Here you go, GG. Not as good as the Brisbane one....with its pics.

But the Moreton one gives you an after hours no. It's an RSPCA one, so you've probably done that.

It tells you who to contact & what shelters for checking.

Worth keeping an eye on the Brisbane site, too....in case someone's picked Tess up to get her out of the storm & continued on to Brisbane.

But maybe Tess is still reasonably close by... I could be wrong, but she may be hiding somewhere. So your door knocking/calling her name, wouldn't have been wasted. People are aware to look out for her. Also put a pile of her dry food on the footpath side of the open gate.

Any answer yet from the text message to the 'Found Dog' person?
